Hunter College North Building Animal Research Center features a Distech Controls Lonworks Building Management System. On this project the BMS controls, rooftop units, heat exchangers, exhaust fans and individual animal labs with VAV’s, VEV’s and reheats.

At PS 135K Advantex Solutions installed a Distech Controls Lonworks DDC temperature control system controlling the heating and cooling.

The EC-BOS real-time control devices support a wide range of protocols including LONWORKS, BACnet, Modbus and Internet standards. The EC-BOS connect to system field devices, such as LONWORKS or BACnet controllers, and provide real-time control functions.

New Family Intake Center has a Johnson Controls Building Management system, controling AHU’s, cooling towers, boilers, and over 150 VAV’s, with reheats and radiant panels. This project also features integration to unit manufacturers, Mammoth, Liebert, Aerco and Preferred Utilities, through multiple communication protocols, including Bacnet and Modbus.

 

At New York Methodist Hospital Advantex Solutions replaced the old cooling tower and AHU starters with Danfoss VFD’s. Interfaced to the building management system the associated motors can now modulate to maintain temperature and pressure. This allows for a more accurate and efficient way of controlling water temperature.

In 2008, Advantex Solutions became an authorized representative of Distech Controls to provide our clients with a LON control system, an open protocol control system. Our LON control system will provide our clients with control solutions with flexibility and the ability to integrate various HVAC equipment under one control system.
